Well, read my title. So, I’ll be neglecting this blog for quite some time and I’ll be MIA-ing. One of the reasons is because I have absolutely NO time to blog at all, with EOYs coming up and a lot of stuff to stress over with. And another reason is because, I found this super expensive and nice notebook (velvet!) lying lonelily on my shelf, so I’ve decided to use it as a diary. A diary is much more private and personal than a blog, ya know.

Okay, think that’s about all I wanna say, will post OCASSIONALLY la. OCASSIONALLY ah.

Gosh, as each day pass, we are a day nearer to EOYs. Can't believe time just passes by so fast, a moment ago, it was just Sec 1 orietation, and the next moment, the year is drawing to an end and soon, we will just have to take on more responsibilities in CCA, school and all.

Whew, taking a break after a whole day of work – Homec, Art and other horrendous stuff. Jiang shang-ing myself with Ribena and tidbits. And guess what? It is only 3 days into the September holidays, and I gained 1kg. Noooooooooo D:

Anyway, I shall finish all my work by tomorrow, then the remaining days shall be mugging days, bearing in mind that Chem Class Test is on next Wednesday. And Crime Prevention test is on next Tuesday. Oh my poo poo. D: D: D:

Oh yes, and seeing how hard I’ve been doing my work these few days, my nice nice Ahma had bought me this Teddy Chocolate Biscuit that I haven’t eaten for ages. You know, the one in blue packaging…

It has been eons since I’ve blogged, so…

Presenting to you…

iMCR! <3

Though the neoprint is a bit blurrrrr, but it certainly shows how fantastic and fabulous the four of us are!

So, yesterday, iMCR met up once again at VivoCity to watch Upppppp! We were supposed to go Sentosa after that, but unfortunately, it rained elephants and hippos. So, we changed our plan, and went to Bugis instead! Weehee, Mel, are you still red-shirt-guy-hunting? :D

So, there, we took neoprints, 1st round, it turned out awesome, 2nd round, awful because the decorating time was only a mere 100 seconds, with no stopping time and 3rd round was fine. Then, while Mel and Rach got some blouse/ shirt/ wtv, iBelle and I decided to get foooooood instead, so, BeardPapa and OldChangKee!

Then, iBelle took MRT home, while Mel, Rach and I took MRT together. Rach dropped off at Serangoon while Mel and I at Kovan, and then, SweetTalk! Then my ‘rents fetched both of us home :D

Wonderful iMCR day, and I’m sure there will be more of such outings! Yay iMCR!

Shall do it when I'm 20 too, with Shruielle, maybe, but doing it in pairs would be better, according to Belle. But anyway, we'll decide. In seven years' time :DDD

GO AWAY, EVIL FLU BUG! YOU CAUSED SO MANY PEOPLE IN MY CLASS TO FALL ILL, AND ONE TEACHER TO FALL ILL, FLU BUG. YOU'RE SOOOOO EVIL.

But at the same time, a special shoutout to Yu Wei, Belle, Hui Min, Ting Ting and Cao Lao Shi, GET WELL SOON! KILL THE EVIL FLU BUG!

And one unlucky thing is that two out of three choristers from my class is ill (i.e. Belle and Yu Wei). And Limelight concert's tomorrow! 1. MY DEAR GOOD FRIEND HUI MIN IS CONFIRMEDLY JOINING ME FOR GUITAR LESSONS! Weeeeeeeeeee~! Can't wait for our first lesson together! ;D

3. There is HOMEC prac tomorrow. But I'm partnerless cos Yu Wei can't come tmr ): But I guess I will have fun.

ANGRY THINGS. NO, THING.
That person say I never hand in the worksheet, which I actually did. She collected it on the first week of school, on the day when I was sick. Then the next week, which was week 2, she called out my name and some other people's name to hand in the worksheet, so I hand in. YUXIN, HUI MIN AND I'M SURE MANY OTHER PEOPLE DID. Then today, FOR IDK WTH IS HER PROBLEM, SHE SAID THAT I (and some other people) DIDN'T HAND IT IN. Hello, it's her problem she lost MY worksheet, and she said I DIDN'T HAND IN. And the worst thing, she told it to Ms Foo. No, COMPLAIN to Ms Foo. Like what, kindergarten student ah? I go complain to teacher... WTH. Urgh. Damn pissed. Pissed off. Thoroughly pissed off. Srsly.

WHAT ON EARTH IS HER FREAKING PROBLEM?

So I spent the rest of the lesson staring at her, right in her eye. Throughout the quiz too. Oh yes, and then Ms Foo told the three of us to "see her later" and "explain why we all didn't hand in on time". And I retorted like really loudly, "I WAS ON MC THE LESSON WHEN SHE COLLECTED THE ASSIGNMENT". And I already told that teacher I was on MC on the day she collected it, when I handed in last week. FREAK HER. Oh yes, I'm glad I use this word correctly 'cos she's completely like a freak. Perfect adjective.

AND THEN AT THE END OF THE LESSON, SHE SAID "CHERYL, IF I STILL CAN'T FIND YOUR ASSIGNMENT, YOU ARE GOING TO DO ANOTHER ONE FOR ME". tHEN STILL SAY IN A VERY APOLOGETIC TONE. MY GAWD. Stop faking la, please. It's your problem YOU lost MY worksheet.

I can't be bothered to type in proper sentences, so I shall list them out in point form.

- CCA is starting next week. Yay!

- I can't wait for Friday's guitar lesson. ;D

- Hui Min might be joining me for guitar! Woots!

- I want to be a PSL badly. Really badly. As well as Hui Min and Shanice, etc.

- My scrunchie and clip and comb mysteriously disappeared~

- I don't like Zhiying to ask "Who is the greatest, Am I greater or is Yeow Xuan greater, etc." whenever she picks up someone's things or when someone pleads her not to throw/ shoot, etc. something at them.

- I cancelled off a lot of hings off my to-do list.

- I wanna thank Su Fern and her mom for fetching me home.

- My finger no longer hurts from playing the guitar ;DDDDDDDDD

- Tomorrow will be a boring day :(

- I have run out of things to say...

- I am getting bored...

- I've to go and get more stuff cancelled off my to-do list...

- Maybe I shall eat a brownie first...

Hello everybody!

Aren’t you glad I’m back to post?! I’m sure you are.

Anw, today, I shall give my blog the honour to record and mark this very important day, which is YESTERDAY, 10 JULY 2009.

YESTERDAY, FRIDAY, 10 JULY 2009, WAS MY FIRST GUITAR LESSON.

And it rockedddddddddddddddddddddd.

It was supposed to be a group of 8 lesson, but not much people signed up for that time slot, and there was only two students, including me! How cool is that? But I’m lonely ): Someone join me? Every Friday, 8.30 – 9.30?

Ohkay. So I learnt the notes that could be played on the first and second string, and learnt to play three songs (those kiddie kiddie type one, haha!), and my homework is to learn Ode to Joy by myself! Wahahahaha, so cool right?!?!?

But then I guess the very-love-guitar-person (ahem, me) practised way too much and now the index and fourth finger of my left hand hurts from pressing down the strings )): But I guess I will get used to it, someday.

All right, I think that’s about all. Seeya!

UPDATE: 10 JULY IS ALSO TANTINGCUBE'S BIRTHDAY! SEE THIS, TAN TING CUBE?

Whew, I just came back from Suntec City and Marina Barrage (: And Marina Barrage is damn cool I’m telling you. Actually, there’s nothing really cool about it, just that it’s really windy there, it’s huge and it’s very… Uh… Relaxing?

So today, around the late afternoon, my parents and I intended to go to Suntec City to do some shopping at Carrefour. But unfortunately, when we were reaching there, there was this road block and we were redirected by the traffic police to some other random road. And then, idk why, we anyhow turn here turn there, and ended up at…

MARINA BARRAGE! ;D (Oh and btw, my dad kept complaining that the $2 ERP charge is ridiculous, and he gave a whole list of reason, complaining about it for the rest of the day. Now still complaining.)

Basically, Marina Barrage, according to those information posters, is a reservoir in the city, or sth like that. And I shan’t elaborate further, ‘cos you will prolly be bored to death. So, photos!

Oh dear, why are the photos taking so long to transfer?! Be patient… (Photos not in chronological order…)

   

Yay, am finally done with the pictures. Maybe I shall elaborate on some of them, starting from the top.

For the very very first picture, please do not mistake it for a drain or canal, but if I am not wrong, it is the BARRAGE itself (:

Then, for the pictures of me and my mom where I wore those sunglasses, I know I look weird in them ‘cos they are my Mom’s and she said that if I don’t wear then the sunlight will hurt my eyes and stuff… So don’t laugh. My favourite picture now is the one where I show the two peace signs. Beautifully taken, yea? ;D

Then for pictures with helicopter(s) in them, they were actually taken when they were flying right above my head during the NDP’09 rehearsal. They so happen to fly past the Marina Barrage and so happen to fly above my head. So I was panicking while taking the pictures, so they were not beautifully taken. But it was a fantastic sight then ;D

Then there’s this bird’s eye view of the Marina Barrage. I begged the person in the helicopters to give me a lift so that I can take the picture. Nah, you know I’m just kidding, I took that picture from a poster there :P

Then the picture of the helicopter with the Singapore flag, but this time the helicopters were beside me. Like a few metres away. Damn awesome. And once again, I was panicking, so they weren’t beautifully taken.

Had a great day today with Jolene and Dorothy! Well, basically, we just ate, bowled, talked and walked. And then went to dot's house. So I shan't elaborate much and just talk about what we did at Dot's house ;D

So, at Dot's house, we ate cup noodle and played monopoly, and soon, Jolene and I had to go home. ): But we had great fun trying out dot's erhu (!!!) and guitar!!! In the morning, Jolene told me she would looooooove to learn the erhu and guitar, but at the end of the day, she said they are disgusting (?!). She said it's so difficult to learn -.- Patience, Jolene, patience.

BUT NOW, I AM THE ONE WANTING TO LEARN GUITAR. So, from today onwards, Cheryl Tay is determined to self-learn the acoustic guitar. And I hope I will be determined. ;D But anyone wanna volunteer to teach me? ;DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Helloooooooooo ;D

had a great time yesterday with ♥ (SH)RUIELLE. Well, the SH is in brackets because Shih Han is enjoying herself in Taiwan. So, ♥ RUIELLE!

Anw, in the morning, Hui Min and I went to Belle’s house, and once again, I was the latest. Oh yes, and they were kind enough to come down to the MRT station to wait for me! ;D Then, what supposedly was a half study and half shopping session turned out to be a 0.01 study and all-play session. We did our work for respective subjects for about half an hour, before making our way down to Plaza Singapura to catch Hannah Montana! And it was reaaaaaaaaaaaaally nice. Really.

Then ♥ RUIELLE spent a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time trying to decide what we wanted to eat, and in the end, I decided to eat fishcake (it was really yummy!), Hui Min ate Yami (?) Yoghurt and Belle ate Jollibean. Then we went hunting for Belle’s choir shoes, but none of the shoe shops sold what she needed. So, we met up with Belle’s mom and went to AMKHub.

At the AMK MRT Station, Belle’s mom met up with Belle’s aunt and they were sooooooo sisterly. Like really really sisterly. Then once again, ♥ RUIELLE went choir shoes hunting, and Belle finally bought her shoes. ;DDD Then, Belle and her Mom treated us Prata Sausage. And Hui Min fell in love. ;D

Then we walked around, and after realising that there was nthing much for us to shop, we went back to Belle’s house and played at the Pyramid playground. There, I finally climbed to the top of the pyramid, had this very weird obstacle course thing (haha!) and ♥ RUIELLE played Truth or Double Truth. Then, when we were extremely extremely thirsty, we went home. 

At home (as in belle’s home), we took a pictures, though failing many many many times and Belle’s Mom made us Fruit Yoghurt. Very yummy too! ;D Then I had to go home. ):
